Why Authors Hub UK exists?

Authors Hub UK was created by ThinkingBigger after years of working closely with schools, educators, authors and creatives. During this time, we’ve seen just how powerful author visits can be, and also how difficult it often is for schools to discover the right authors, and for authors to be visible beyond their immediate networks.

Authors Hub UK is a discovery platform designed to make that connection easier. It helps schools across the UK find authors who are open to delivering talks, workshops and creative sessions, while giving authors a clear, transparent way to be discovered by educators. Simply put, it exists to bridge that gap.

Authors Hub UK is free for schools to use.

Authors can choose between a standard listing or an optional featured profile. Income from featured profiles helps sustain the platform and directly supports BrainyBudz CIC, which works with neurodivergent young people and adults to build inclusive creative community spaces.
