Natalia is ThinkingBigger’s Creative & Publishing Director & LATAM representative. She is also a published children’s author, illustrator, and a bilingual Spanish–English educator with over eight years’ experience across mainstream and SEND school settings in both the UK and internationally.

She holds a Master’s degree in Illustration and Animation and a background in Fine Art, bringing together education, storytelling, and visual language to create work that is both emotionally resonant and educationally impactful. Her work is strongly informed by her experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.

Alongside her creative practice, Natalia has experience supporting teaching and learning in UK schools across KS3–KS4, including Spanish (GCSE), and has previously taught full classes as an Art and Theatre teacher. Her approach combines creativity with structured learning, supporting both academic progress and emotional development.

As a fine artist, Natalia works with multimedia and traditional painting techniques, taking commissions and exhibiting her work through agents. Her digital illustrations explore identity, emotion, and belonging, creating meaningful connections with young audiences.

Her debut book, Finding Joy in Being Different, follows a neurodivergent child’s journey towards self-acceptance and celebrates difference as a strength. The book has resonated with children, families, and educators, supporting conversations around identity, empathy, and confidence.

In You Choose the Story, Natalia’s illustrations bring metacognitive thinking to life, encouraging readers to reflect, question, and actively engage with narrative and meaning.

In school settings, Natalia delivers workshops that combine storytelling, illustration, and creative reflection, offering inclusive and accessible experiences that support emotional literacy, creativity, and self-belief. Her work is particularly valued in environments that champion inclusion, wellbeing, and student voice.
